I provide couples psychotherapy that is powerful and confidential creating a supported and safe environment for exploring your issues. My intention for my clients is to create a short term structured approach with clear goals for therapy or long term depth analytic approach for those wanting deeper exploration. My method is to help think with you about your concerns and give explanations for your experience to help you become your healthiest self. Although I specialize in Couples Therapy and Marriage Counseling, I also help individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their personal relationships.

In my clinical approach, I provide modern talk therapy for mood, trauma, and relationship issues. I am trained in Psychoanalytic Couples psychotherapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy for Couples (AEDP) and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) methods to help couples.  In addition, I use internal family systems approach (IFS) and the latest research in neuroscience i.e. PACT in order to help reduce depression and facilitate self compassion for both couples and individuals.

In 2007, I received a master’s degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies.  I have studied the lineage of psychotherapy from its roots in Freudian psychodynamics, the dreamwork and depth of Jung, to the current humanistic approaches that we have today. Also, I am currently in a post graduate PhD program earning a doctorate in Depth Psychology.

In 2011, my colleagues and I co-founded the Bay Area Gestalt Institute in San Francisco, CA. BAGI’s vision is that you have an experience that is healing, provides lasting change in your life, and expands self-awareness.  For more information on low fee or sliding scale therapy, please visit www.bagisf.org.

In 2013, my colleagues and I founded The San Francisco Marriage and Couples Center in order to provide modern and progressive treatment to help couples and individuals improve their relationships.

In my spare time, I enjoy having tea with friends, hiking with my partner and puppy, practicing yoga, daily meditation, and attending meditation day longs and retreats.
