Our emotional, mental, and physical life needs to be supported and nurtured throughout our journey in life. We currently live in an unprecedented time of change, some fear, and/ or stress. Self-acceptance and healing occurs through a collaborative approach focused on enhancing our personal strengths and having insight to empower ourselves to manage challenges and stressors.

Therapy can provide the support, tools, and guidance needed to help you understand your challenges and help you overcome the obstacles that prevent you from finding peace and happiness in your life. It can provide you with a space where you can express your struggles and explore your options to work on them.

EXPERIENCE

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with experience in the field of counseling and psychology for over 20 years. My specialization is in working with teens, young adults, and individuals with issues such as anxiety, parental concerns, work stressors, academics and professional stress, relationship stressors, self-esteem and other day-to-day challenges. Having lived in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, India, and the US, I also specialize in working with multi-ethnic individuals and have deeper understanding of cultural barriers.

MY THERAPY STYLE

I do understand that it can be difficult to find the right person to support you. What I can provide is a non-judgmental, compassionate, therapeutic environment for you to work through the challenges you are facing. I utilize strength-based, solution-based, and mindfulness techniques to motivate our work together and collaborate with you to help achieve your goals. My goal as a therapist is to encourage you as a client to attain your greatest potential and empower you to face your challenges.

Individual Counseling

There are various reasons one seeks therapy. Change and Support are the two most common reasons for counseling. People who come in are generally seeking a better understanding of their struggles and to develop coping strategies that work for them during trying times.

Relationship Coaching

Communication is a core characteristic of our relationships. We sometimes define ourselves by our relationships but these relationships aren’t always easy. I can offer support to identify these maladaptive interactions and strive to improve this interaction
