Offers Sliding Scale Therapy

In my practice I work with issues such as: anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, grief and loss, trauma and substance abuse and recovery. I provide individual psychotherapy and couples counseling to clients seeking to improve the quality of their lives and relationships.

My focus is on awareness building in service of self-actualization. Self-actualization is defined at the process of harnessing our strengths and resources in order to feel more alive and present in our lives. Our actualization occurs in the context of our relationship with ourselves as well as with other people, our work, institutions and environments. As our awareness expands we feel more confident, have more energy, feel more connected to others and are clearer about our place in the world.

I incorporate various orientations in my practice that resonate with me as effective in meeting the diverse needs of my clients. Some of which include humanistic, relational, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness based approaches. I strive to ensure that my clients are clear about what they are learning and gaining from psychotherapy. This includes the identification of supportive tools and coping skills that continue to aid clients after the completion of therapy.

I believe in our innate ability to heal and grow. Therapy is a collaborative process that nurtures this human tendency. Fostering our own personal development is one of the most significant ways we contribute to our relationships, family and community.

As your therapist I will engage with you honestly, directly and compassionately. I look forward to working with you!
