Offers Sliding Scale Therapy

MFT Registered Intern #88280

Partnered relationships can be a place of deep joy and beauty but also of deep hurt and frustration. There are moments of feeling connected and enlivened and moments of disconnect, resentment and even boredom.

No matter where you are in your relationship, couples therapy can be a very illuminating experience. It provides a safe space for expression and a unique opportunity for you to discover yourself, your partner and your relationship in new ways.

Depending on your needs, I can help you:

  • Strengthen your bond as a couple
  • Discover what makes you feel most connected to your partner
  • Understand your own needs and how to communicate them in a way your partner can hear
  • Understand how your vulnerabilities are connected to early life experiences and other relationships
  • Develop strategies for managing stress and conflict
  • Develop your capacity for self-reflection and build your resources for self-care
  • Discover a new level of intimacy and connection
  • Learn how to track yourself and your partner
  • Explore your underlying assumptions about relationships
  • Develop regular practices that nurture and sustain your relationship
  • Adopt new language for your feelings and experiences
  • Explore ways you can best support each other
  • Find support with communication, infidelity, family conflict, parenting and step-parenting, grief, loss, cultural differences, financial stress, sexual challenges, separation, divorce or anything else you may be struggling with

My style is one of warmth, curiosity and compassion. In my work with couples, I facilitate communication and help each partner understand the other as well as feel understood. I strive to help partners understand the dynamics of their relationship while also learning about themselves as individuals. Together, we explore your strengths and challenges as a couple. We will develop ways for you to learn from each other, while also developing your capacity to be sensitive to each other's hurts and triggers. My hope is to provide both emotional support and practical tools to help you reconnect and rediscover each other in a new and healthy way.
