Couples seek counseling for a myriad of reasons.  Sometimes it feels like you are stuck in the same fight, or there has been a betrayal of some kind, or you want to find a way to create and sustain a deeper connection between you.

I specialize in working with relationships of all kinds and have spent the last 15 years both as a teacher and a therapist studying what gets in the way of connecting authentically with ourselves and the world around us.  I am passionate about helping couples navigate their relationships creating a safe space to express painful truths and explore different parts of you.

Often wounds get activated in partnerships offering a great potential for healing within these same partnerships. I work with couples to clarify each of your wounds, how they get activated and how to come back to connection.  I tailor my approach to meet your needs, starting where you are, in the moment.  I draw from Emotionally Focused Couples therapy, Non Violent Communication, Psychodynamic and Relational Approaches.

I graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a masters degree in Integral Counseling Psychology after spending the early part of my career as an elementary school teacher.  I look forward to meeting you in person and beginning our work together.
